Subscription Policy
Last updated: August 22, 2026
1. Watch+ plans
Watch+ is the paid membership for personal tools, alerts and the EV Ownership Hub. There is no free membership plan or free trial. Public research pages can be viewed without an account. Watch+ may be offered monthly and yearly in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes may be added by the payment processor.
2. Automatic renewal
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the then-applicable recurring price until cancelled. The renewal cadence is shown at checkout.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel a Stripe-managed subscription through the billing portal linked from your account when available. Cancellation normally stops future renewals and access continues through the paid billing period unless Stripe or applicable law requires otherwise.
4. Refunds
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription charges are non-refundable once a billing period has begun. If we choose to issue a discretionary refund, that does not create an obligation to do so in other cases.
5. Ownership-tool limitations
Maintenance, warranty, cost and recall tools organize information entered by you or matched from data sources. They do not replace an owner's manual, manufacturer maintenance schedule, dealer advice, warranty contract, professional inspection, Transport Canada VIN lookup or safety notice. Reminder intervals may vary by exact model, year, trim, use and climate.
6. Feature and source changes
Data sources, alert methods and individual Watch+ features may change because government feeds, third-party services or technical requirements change. We will not intentionally remove the core paid monitoring service without considering affected subscribers and applicable consumer obligations.
7. Failed payments
If payment fails, Watch+ member tools may be restricted after Stripe reports the subscription as unpaid, cancelled or otherwise inactive. Public research pages remain available without an account.
8. Price changes
We may change pricing for future billing periods. Any notice required by applicable law or payment-provider rules will be provided before the new recurring price takes effect.
