Terms of Use
Last updated: August 22, 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing ChineseEVsCanada.com or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Information service only
The site provides research, aggregation, monitoring and commentary. Vehicle availability, specifications, prices, incentives, import rules, recalls and policies can change without notice. Always verify material decisions with the automaker, dealer or responsible government authority.
3. Status labels
“Watching,” “announced,” “importer signal,” “Canada rated,” “priced,” “dealers,” and “available” are our organizational labels. An importer or government-data match may relate to a manufacturer or broader entity and does not necessarily prove a specific model will be offered for retail sale in Canada.
4. Accounts and ownership tools
You are responsible for your credentials, activity under your account, and the accuracy of vehicle/maintenance/warranty information you enter. Ownership tools are recordkeeping and reminder features only; they are not mechanical, safety, legal, warranty or manufacturer advice. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, unauthorized automated access, fraud, chargebacks, attempts to circumvent plan limits, or unlawful activity.
5. Paid services
Watch+ subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Additional billing terms are in the Subscription Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Advertising and affiliates
The site may display Google AdSense advertising, sponsored placements or affiliate links. Advertising does not determine our evidence status for a vehicle. Sponsored content will be identified where required.
7. Data and intellectual property
Government data remains subject to its applicable licence. Our original site design, software, compilation, written explanations, status methodology and branding may not be copied or republished except as permitted by law.
8. Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, probe security, overload infrastructure, scrape at a rate that harms the service, impersonate another person, upload malicious material, or use the site for unlawful purposes.
9. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chinese EVs Canada and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, vehicle purchase losses or decisions made in reliance on site content. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, sources or plans. We may update these Terms by posting a revised date. Material changes to paid services will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
